Can I Turn $10 Into A $100 In A Month?

Well, after donking away most of my online money playing in tournaments that were way too expensive for my bank roll, I have decided to slow it down a little - no, a ton. Accordingly, I am going to take the last $10 (yes, ten f'ing dollars) and see if I can micro-stake it back up to $100.

Today's starting balance: $10.

Off to the tables... Wish me luck!

Edit:
2/24/09 Morning Update: Had some good luck playing three tables. Bank roll now sits at a nice $35.02.

2/24/09 Evening Update: I played at three tables again tonight for an hour or two. Did not make a fortune but did manage to bring the bank roll up to $40.30.

  1. Hey kev, I totally feel for your loss @ the tourny's. I am sure your cash skillz will help rebuild the roll.

  2. Thanks for stopping by. I have never really played in any tournaments but my early success gave me a false sense of "ability". Gonna take a little time off from them and try to build up my bank roll in a more comfortable arena - cash games. See you around.

  3. What level is that? There's a fellow blogger at http://bankroller.blogspot.com/ who's doing something similar, and you're speeding past him, although he's doing it at 2NL - maybe you're playing higher? Risky if you are though...

  4. Thanks for stopping by! I'm playing at $0.01/0.02 NL on Poker Stars, usually at three tables. I have decided to play at the lowest levels until I build up my bank roll.
